We experienced our first snow of the year on Monday!  Sunday night we were out until 7:00 wearing light jackets and Monday we broke out the hats, coats, gloves and snowboots!  The kids were thrilled!  Jarrett was fascinated by the pretty, white flakes blowing from the sky, so after my daycare kids left I took him out for about 10 minutes.  He had a huge smile on his face inspite of the cold wind.

DJ's cousin is getting married on Saturday, so we have been busy preparing for that.  Emily is an attendant in the wedding.  We were lucky enough to get a dress for her on ebay for just a few dollars!  Gotta love a bargin!  We will try to find shoes tonight at Wamart.  I REALLY need to get busy, as I have promised 100 leaf shaped sugar cookies by Saturday.  I think I will start mixing the dough tomorrow and bake and decorate on Friday.  DJ is taking the pictures for the wedding and we are all excited about that.  He did shoot a wedding last year, but it was very small and informal.  This will pose more of a challenge, one that he happily embraces.

Hunter's 6th birthday is on Halloween.  We are having an outdoor party for him on Sunday with his friends and their families.  Please pray for nice weather!!  The kids are going to have field day races and go hiking with the dads'.  The moms' will stay by the fire and entertain the little ones playing on the outdoor playground and in the tent.  Right now the forcast is a high of 54 and sunny!
