With squash vines, and tomatoes fine,

and corn stalks all in a row.

If I could click my ruby slippers together...

I would have them take me to this yard, with this garden and a bench on the porch outside of the front door where I could sit with my friend for a limitless amount of time and talk, talk, talk. Having had brief moments there a couple of weeks ago makes my heart ache even more for what could be if I were only 5 miles down the road...or 30 or 60. To gain from her wisdom, to learn and grow from her sharing of her skills.
How do you continue to grow in a friendship separated by 7 hours of interstate? By God's grace and by thankfulness that we had the time that we did to establish a firm foundation that will prevent the miles from wiping away our friendship. I praise you Lord for the gift, the amazing gift of Angie!

About Me

Whoso loves believes the impossible.
--Elizabeth Barrett Browning

We are not called to get love,
but to give unstintingly and joyously,
life-giving agape love to those the Lord has surrounded us with.

Yay! I'm a daisy, my favorite flower!!

I am a
Daisy

What Flower
Are You?

Just as a flashlight draws power from its batteries,
we draw power from the Son of God.
As light, we dissipate fear, bring relief and lift spirits.
We don't even have to be big to be effective.
We just have to be "on".
Today, let's pursue that which is good,
right and truthful by shining through darkened circumstances.
Don't keep the switch off
or hold back as though our batteries have run down.
Our source is the glorious

"Light Invisible."

Being switched on pleases the Lord.
Stay on.
Stay bright.
