Thank you so much for all the wonderful responses! I feel better knowing there is help and support out there. I got a cook book called, "The Way to cook" By Julia Child. I really like it. I will look into the Ball Blue Book. I really feel like the Lord is teaching me to take baby steps with things. I have set a goal to do 2 new recipies a week, so as not to overwhelm my family. Dh likes routine when it comes to food. New recipies put him into shock! We decided Friday nights would be new dinner night, where the family could criticise the meal and decide if it should stay or go. Then I try a new "other" recipe. Tea time or snack or bread or breakfast. Again, thanks for the support! Tara |
