trying not to get sick!

Well it has been awhile since I last posted and thank you to those that welcomed me!
The weather is changing and I can feel it early in the mornings when I take the dogs out....I love fall, the baking and the colors and smells!
My daughter is back in school, yes, we have always homeschooled our kids but our daughter wanted the experience and challenge of school....so we tried it last year and she did very well. I still keep tabs on her education and am very involved. The boys have opted to stay home. I have three wonderful children....all in high school. The boys love their independence and would not like the schedule of public school so they are still home.
The boys actually start tomorrow! .
Well this is it for now, have some baking to do now......peanut butter brownie bars! Yum!!!! I also want to start sewing my daughter's new skirt! I also have some studying to do too.... I am enrolled in our local junior college, I want to earn my nursing degree....it has always been a dream of mine, to be a nurse!

I also have a friend who is studying at the moment to be a nurse and she is a mum of 6. It is nice to read that you still home school when the children are in high school. I start home schooling in a few weeks with my two children, daughter 6 & son 4. I am looking forward to it but also very nervous also.

Hi, and welcome to HSB! I know you'll love it here. I think it's great that both your boys still want to homeschool. I wish I homeschooled my kids, but I just don't think I would have the patience, and I don't think I could even get myself organized do it all. But it sure is wonderful to hear how many people do homeschool, and that it works out so well.
