We went to see the little cabin with the realtor....

Well, we went to see the little cabin with the realtor today.  I don't even know where to begin.  The land is still just breath taking.  I know where I would put my garden, my chickens, where we would keep a pig to feed out and the horses spot is already fenced.  There were even Mallards already on the pond.  Then you go in the house.... It says on the website 80% finished.  Here is the list of things needing to be done, put in the septic tank, finish the air conditioning (Deanna will understand this is a must!!!), finish ceilings and walls in living room, finish the pantry/water heater closet, put flooring in the main part of the house, finish some of the trim, and finish the driveway.  Does this sound like 80% finished on a tiny cabin?  However, DH put a pen to paper and it would cost us about $10,000.00 for us to do most of the work ourselves.  Which we could do.  They would have to come off the price $10,000.00.  That is just the only way we could do it!!  We are going to wait and see if DH gets the job by the end of Feb. and then make an offer. In the meantime we will be praying God's will.  I pray that it works out.  If it doesn't, then God has something even better for us.

Blessings,

Trixi

That sounds like more than 80% to do. But it is nice to hear you can see you guys living there. Hopefully they will come down in the price for you. God Bless.mj

Amen! If it doesn't work out God has a better plan. If it is your hearts desires and you are willing to do the extra work then I speak God's will be done for your hearts desires to be given because He put them there. Father as you loving give to this family I bless, thank and love you. You always have our best interest in mind and I trust that you are doing what you do best and that is being YOU. In Jesus' Holy Name!
My friend and I went to a empty lot and claimed it for a home to be built on it for them. It was a battle but she is next week to move in her dream home. Yahoo! Thank YOU Jesus!!! Blessings Always, rilda *U*

That sounds like a lot of work, but very exciting....just think, you can put all your own special touches to make a very homey cabin....I will be praying that God's will be done.

Excited for you,

Connie

Your attitude towards waiting to see what happens is wonderful. I hope and pray that it all works out for you. Waiting for God's timing is so hard sometimes!
Blessings,
Leigh-Ann

“I want to know one thing,” said John Wesley, “—the way to heaven: how to land safe on that happy shore. God himself has condescended to teach the way. He hath written it down in a book. O give me that book! At any price, give me the book of God! I have it: here is knowledge enough for me. Let me be a man of one book.”
