Blogoversary Party/ A Few of My Favorite Things....

Tiany at Less of me More of Him is having a blogoversary Party, celebrating her 2nd year of blogging.  I don't get over there as much as I would like but I do really enjoy her blog.  She is wanting us to list a few of our favorite things.  Sounds like fun to me.  Here are mine and then go over and read hers and others.

A Few of My Favorite Things:

1. My Bible.  I love the simple fact that all of my answers are found right there in God's Word.  You can't get more simplistic than that.
2.Fresh Homemade Bread.  I love the smell of grinding the grain and the finshed product of fresh bread warm out of the oven.  So good.
3.I love Yankee Candles.  I buy the little votives for next to nothing at the commissary and just refill my votive holders.  Right now I have Macintosh & Peach going. 
4.I love Bath &Body Works bath gel and lotion.  Right now I am using Peony that I got on sale Saturday.  My Dh never fails to tell me I smell good when I use these.LOL
5.I love cooking from scratch.  We feel so much better when we are not eating junk.  I also love for someone else to clean the kitchen afterwards.LOL
6.My favorite book would be Created to Be His HelpMeet.  It has made an already good marriage better than I could have ever imagined.  Thank you Jesus.
7.My favorite Hymn would be He Was Wounded for My Transgressions.  I love that Hymn.
8.My favorite color is green.
9.I love fresh out of the garden tomato sandwiches with tomatoes, salt, pepper, and mayo on homemade whole wheat bread.
10.I know it's going to sound cheesy but another favorite thing is my family.  They are not last on this list either.  I really do love my family.  My kids are right now sitting at the table beside me playing scrabble.  Life does not get much better than this.

I have so many more favorites, like all of this antique furniture that I have acquired from my mom and dad, but I will keep them to 10.  This was fun.

This really gives me some ideas for you! LOL
I am reading that book Created to be His Helpmeet right now my secret sister sent it to me. WOW is it convicting! But I am loving learning to be whom God has called me to be.
