Day 1 of the new me....

Well, I started my morning with the salt water flush, and I have to say it was horrible.  DH put in 2 Tbsp. instead of 2 Tsp.  Anyway, tomorrow it will be Tsp. of salt, needless to say.  I can barely stomach the maple syrup in my lemonade.  I don't know why but I am not a big maple syrup fan.  So my lemonade is practically sugar free.  It's not too bad though.  I thought by now I would be starving to death, as DH is, but I am surprisingly not.  I prayed this morning for strength and I really think God has given it.  I love my food and really didn't think I would be doing this well without it.  Granted, it is only day 1.LOL  I am hopeful that I will make it to day 10.  I am thinking 21 days of lemonade may be a little much for the first try.Whew!  However, 10 days as the plan calls for I really think will give me the good cleanse I am looking for.  I look forward to enjoying the taste of natural foods like carrots, and broccoli, and not craving sweets 24/7.  That is the goal.  To change my relationship with food.  I want to be the healthiest me in 2008.  I want my body to reflect a true temple of God.

I would be interested in what this cleanse is about.I was wondering what you start out doing and if I could join in?
