Oh, my at all the goings on of late.....

It has just been so busy around here.  I read Deanna's challenge on staying home more and as much as I would love to I just don't know how, right now.  This is what our past weekend and our coming week looks like.....

Friday night we took the girls to a Christmas party of homeschool girls.  Dh, Ds and I went to dinner.  Saturday, oldest DD went to the Christmas musical at First Baptist Jackson.  Then Saturday night we all went to a Christmas play at the neighbors church.  On Sunday morning, the girls and I went to Starkville to pick up my sister and mother.  We then traveled to Birmingham to go to my aunts 70th surprise birthday party.  We had a great time and saw family that we had not seen in 5-10 years.  We even planned a family reunion in August.  However, we didn't even get home until 8:30. 

Today, we will stay home and do a lot of school.  At 4:00 we are going to go look at an old farmhouse.  I know, I know, I said I wasn't going to look anymore but it is so interesting.  I will tell you more about it after we go look.  Then tomorrow we all have dentist appts. at 9:30 for cleanings.  Wednesday afternoon, we are going back to Starkville for my oldest daughter to attend a get together with some friends and the other 2 and I will do some visiting.  Thursday and Friday we are staying home!!!!!

I still have atleast 3 Christmas stockings, to give to my brother's family, to sew.  I would love to make 7 more for my sisters family.  I don't know if that will happen.  I also, have several more crafts I want to do with the kids.  The time is getting by me.  We will be ending school this week and Lord willing, things will slow down.  I hope you all have a great week.

Sounds like your week is going to be nuts. I agree with you about how hard it is to stay home more. It seems like every time I try there's a thousand other things to be doing. I guess that will have to be a new year's thing for me. I would love to stay at home more.
Where in the world did you find an old farmhouse? I think that's my dream house. However, finding one you can afford seems impossible. At least it does up here. Keep us posted...
