My middle DD's first deer (pics)

Well, youth hunt started today. Middle DD went first with Dh, as Ds had a football game and we didn't want him to have to get up that early. It was funny Dh said oh, it's a waste of time, as middle DD didn't even like to shoot the gun. However, it is good bonding time for Daddy and Daughter. Off they went about 30 mins. before daylight. About 8:00, DD had had enough. They had not seen a thing. Dh said let's just stay until 9:00. Shortly after, 3 or 4 does came out onto the green patch. Here is what middle DD got:
  She called me screaming, "Momma I got one." She was so excited. The other two kiddo's and I jumped in the van and ran over to the hunting club to see her great kill. So here we go, well on our way to filling the freezer.
Oh, and yes, that is a pink shirt with camouflage overalls. We have to keep ladies looking like ladies even while hunting.LOL

Nice shot! We've started hunting season over here as well and I'm very much looking forward to filling our freezer as well. Late yesterday afternoon my son got his first deer of the season as well. I've posted his picture, too!
