Rain, Rain, Rain!!!

I saw Grandma Rosie's post on how much rain they got over in Texas, I though I would post a few pics of all the rain here in Mississippi.  It seems never ending.  I have a swimming pool in my front yard.  The poor horses are just slopping around but they seem happier out there than in a stall.

Isn't it a mess?  I keep telling myself to go back and read this in July when we are begging for rain in the garden!!! LOL

Hi neighbor! I'm a good bit further south than you here in Natchez, MS. I may have been a bit too wishful about the time frame of the garden, as I listen to it pouring on the roof right now! I've been to Starkville before...it's a college town, right? So where did you move from before living there? Your pictures are wonderful (overlooking the rain puddles, that is!) You know, this happens to us almost every year. We plan an early garden and then get really postponed by rain and waiting for the ground to dry up. But it ends up all working out in spite of our anxieties over it. I'm so glad we found each other here and I will be visiting you often...come back to my place too! ~j~
