How does your garden grow?....garden pictures.....

If you have been following this blog at all then you know that I love the garden and I love preserving God's bounty. That being said, this year we were a little concerned because we have gotten little to no rain. As a result of no rain, the garden did not just take off like usual. Well, we have had a couple of good showers and I have stayed on top of the watering. It's looking pretty good right now.
In this view you can see watermelon, cantaloupe, and honey dew vines. You can see the tomatoe plants, squash, peas, and off in the distance is the row of sunflowers.
Here are more tomato plants and cucumber vines. We got 11 cucumbers this morning. Thank you Jesus.
Here are the beloved squash and zucchini. We have squash literally running out our ears. Oh, what a good problem to have.

Here are the sunflowers. Alot, of these came up from the seed that fell last year. They are superb. We have had to weed them out because they were so thick that they were blocking the sunlight. My middle Dd wants them planted every year and we are obliging. She is right it makes the whole garden just look better.
I wanted to show a picture of my 9 rows of peas but it wouldn't load. I will be busy, busy putting all of this up the next few weeks. Praise the Lord.
Blessings,
Trixi

I never thought of making a garden with no rows..Your way looks easier than the rows and weeds...Yes indeed you will be a busy family soon when the harvest comes in....I have sunflowers growing wild. I never planted any seeds but we each sunflower seeds, so I guess some fell out of the bags and sprouted..lol..Just love them...Debbie

Oh, trixi! Everything looks lovely..... I absolutely love sunflowers! When will you be moving? Will you be able to harvest what you planted , even though you will be moving?
Blessings,
Gloria

I am totally impressed with your garden and have a few questions. How do you get by without mulching everything? There are no weeds? How? I'm in awe! You have done a fabulous job! Thank you for sharing the pictures. I am inspired to go pull weeds in my garden now. LOL
Take Care

“I want to know one thing,” said John Wesley, “—the way to heaven: how to land safe on that happy shore. God himself has condescended to teach the way. He hath written it down in a book. O give me that book! At any price, give me the book of God! I have it: here is knowledge enough for me. Let me be a man of one book.”
