Bisquits made with oil....

I am wanting to make homemade biscuits without using Crisco. I was wondering if anyone has a recipe for biscuits made with oil. After reading several blogs about hydrogenated oil, I'm thinking it might be a good thing to stay away from. My Crisco is hydrogenated oil. I and my family absolutely love a good jelly biscuit.
Blessings,
Trixi

I haven't tried oil yet, I make biscuits quite often and I use butter. Let us know how the oil works.

Roll out to 1/2 inch thick.
Cut biscuits in 2 inch rounds.
Bake biscuits on ungreased baking sheet at 450 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.

We LOVE biscuits here too! As I use butter in mine, I'm not sure how oil would work...let us know if you try it, I'd like to know for future reference just in case!

“I want to know one thing,” said John Wesley, “—the way to heaven: how to land safe on that happy shore. God himself has condescended to teach the way. He hath written it down in a book. O give me that book! At any price, give me the book of God! I have it: here is knowledge enough for me. Let me be a man of one book.”
