The great apron hunt....pattern....

I am on the hunt for an apron pattern.  I want a very specific apron.  I want one that looks like the one that ma Ingall's wore on Little House on the Prarie, or the one the Missy LaHaye wears on Loves Long Journey.  This paticular apron has a large square front (full coverage), it has a gathered skirting that ties in the back, and it would have two wide straps that attatch in the back to the skirt.  I have not been able to find this specific apron.  However, I think I could make it without a pattern.  I have bought my fabric and now just have to practice.  If you know of one that is similar please let me know.

I have that Prairie pattern for adults here with a great apron...not quite the back your are looking for, though. This one has more of a button-back bodice, then the waistband and ties.
If you find one, let me know :o) I am always looking for good aprons. We seem to drift here and there with them and don't actually have a particular favorite just yet. We like the Prairie apron, we like the full Amish Kitchen apron....I really need to settle into ONE and stick with it!
