Help with pictures

As many of you know I am new to this and am loving every minute of it....  I would like to upload pictures but they are always to big for the avatar.  Do any of you have any suggestions for making them smaller?  Thank you all in advance......

I had this very same problem. I solved it by downsizing my pictures through my picture software (I use kodak easyshare - came with my camera.) Email me if you need more help.

I'm kinda new to all this too !! I have some photos that are upside down and don't know how to get them the right way.

How did you get that signea {did I spell it right ??} at the bottom of every post ?? I had "My Signature for a while but all of a sudden it quit and know I have to hand type my signature and verses !!
