She's a Water Dog!

The pooch definately had fun on Tuesday! I attempted to take some pictures of the children swimming, but they were acting goofy and were too far out to get a good shot.  Really, the only reason why the dog kept coming back was because I was the one throwing the ball. Goodness that dog swam for two hours!  When we got home she went right to bed!  She never got up to go to the bathroom or for her supper!  Unfortunately, she is a little out of shape.  She only walks on a leash in the big city and runs in our back yard.  Just when she gets running fast she has to put the brakes on quick or she will end up crashing into the fence.  All that may change though.

My DH and I have been working on researching the matter of our property taxes.  It is looking a little bleak.   Our neighbors have appeared to fair very well, however others with similar homes like ours have been really hit hard.  I will pray that it will work out and we can at least get them lowered somewhat.  If they do not then come next Spring, we have decided to sell our home.  Perhaps this is just what we needed to motivate us to complete the final renovations of our home.  Our original plan was just that and relocate a little more rural with more land.  Time will tell.  I have to admit with this fustration of it all, I have been working on that list of mine and painted the hall and staircase to the rear entrance of our home.  That was one project that has been on the list for two years!  Check!

Well, nothing is being accomplished with me on this computer, so I wish you all a good day!

Cute picture! I like what you would do if you were a millionaire question. I hope the tax situation works in your favor.
Blessings for your week.

I have a thing for furbabies. Too cute! Aren't they fun in the water. Our blueheeler will nearly drowned herself playing fetch in the ponds.

The property tax issue you are dealing with is just awful.

I just heard on the radio how a nearby city "loaned" a big business owner $4.5 million because his company is struggling and may loan another $X million and give him tax breaks to buy a downtown hotel. I don't think they spend our money wisely and have such a struggle coughing it up.

I hope it all works out for you one way or the other.

Take Care
