Is it Fall?

Hello to anyone who takes the time to read this today!   I am new here and I hope to get the chance to meet new and interesting people from all over!

I live in Maryland, on a little piece of land that we like to call Heaven.  It is on the Magothy River, right at the mouth of where it feeds into the Chesapeake Bay.  It is our little mini homestead and we love living here!  We get all kinds of wildlife that visit, the changing of the seasons is always spectacular to watch here and we are sort of out in the country.  We try to live as green as possible and do all of our gardening organic.

So, back to the title of my blog...  Is it fall yet?  The calender does say so, but the weather here does not.  We had record heat yesterday of 91 and today it is going to be another hot sticky day...in October!  Yuck and Yikes!    I am ready for the cool weather, my sweater has been staring me in the face wanting to be worn!

Today's plan is to make two more batches of soap, I have several craft shows coming up in November and December, and I need to make up another batch of laundry soap.  I have knitting and crocheting that needs to get done as well, laundry, schooling and other basic chores.  Right now I am enjoying some quiet time and a cup of coffee.
