2 posts: A secret way to boost vitamins & Lacto-Fermented Soda

There is a slight chill in the air  which sends me in search of my warm and satisfying Beef Stew Recipe. To boost it's nutritional value I sneak in about a quarter cup of burdock, astragalus, nettles, and oatstraw. All of which are high in vitamins and minerals we need to keep our bodies healthy.

This week we've started a new project and the kids couldn't be happier! We are making blueberry soda. Lacto-fermented soda to be exact. I'm a member of Herb Mentor and Kimberly has posted a great video on how to make these, They have also posted directions here in their newsletter.
I'm excited because the possibilities or combination's are endless! Peach, Blueberry, Strawberry, Herbs too! We are on day 3 of our culture, pictures are coming soon.

Give it a try, let me know how it turned out, take pictures, post about it, just let me know you did and I'll come take a peek.
