I have just applied to our local council for an allotment, for those who dont know what this is, its a piece of land that you rent to grow anything you like on. It costs about £20 a year. I didn`t think there would be any vacant ones in our area , but there are, so hopefully we wont have to wait long. Our garden at home is tiny, I`m still going to grow as much as I can there aswell though.
