About Me:
My story is kind of long but I will try to give the condensed version.
I am a 37-year-old mother of 3. I am on my third marriage due to mistakes and bad decisions in the past. Thank God that I am now with the one He had for me all along.
I love being a mother but am finding it more and more difficult as mine become teenagers. My daughter Ashley is 17 and will be 18 August 21. She will be attending Eastern Illinois University in the Fall and moving into her residence hall the day before her birthday.
My son Jacob is 13 and will be 14 on October 15. Jacob was a miracle birth. He was 6 1/2 weeks premature and he and I both almost died. Please pray for my children as they are not interested in serving the Lord. That is not easy to say either. My husband and I believe it comes from being from broken homes and pray that the Lord will heal them and draw them to Him.
My step-son Caleb is 11 and will be 12 on September 5.
My husband Joe is 46 years old and will be 47 on November 21. We have been through a lot together and will be married 10 years December 15.
Now, our beliefs. We believe in Jesus Christ as the only Son of God. That He lived a sinless life, was crucified for our sins and willingly went to the cross for us, died, and three days later was resurrected and now lives at the right hand of the Father.
We believe in the gifts of the Spirit, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, and are involved in an independent church that is a House of Prayer. We have both been called into the music ministry for years now. We are currently on a worship team with Joe playing electric guitar (he is a bassist and is branching out) and I am singing backup vocals but just spent the last year playing keyboard on one of the worship teams there.
We have a wonderful pastor and pastors wife, and are eternally thankful for such a wonderful church to be in.
We are blessed with Godly parents (my mother passed away in 2006) whom we respect and try to honor as much as is humanly possible. I will say this: I am thankful to God every single day for a Godly, Proverbs 31 mother-n-law.
