Our Baby is with the Lord
I haven't been on in a while...correction, I haven't posted in a while. I have done lots of browsing and reading. Last week, Dec. 1st, we lost our precious baby. I was 11 weeks pregnant. This was the first time I have lost a baby. It was quite a shock, especially after 4 healthy babies. We have been so blessed with many families in our homeschool group bringing meals and such. My 13 dd was such a grown up girl. It is during times like this that the Lord shows us how blessed we really are. I do believe God is good all the time.
That's not to say this has been an easy time. I have experienced so many emotions and questions in my heart that I never would have thought I would have felt. If you would have asked me before, I would have thought that mourning the loss and recovering physically would have been the biggest challenges. However, this time has been much more of a spiritual experience. I am not quite sure how to describe it. I know that God is Sovereign, and know that He loves the baby and our family more that we could ever love ourselves. I guess it come down to trust. Do I trust that God does the best thing for me at every moment? In my mind, I know He does. Making my heart "feel" it is another story.

Understand
I am sorry for your loss. It is a hard time and a hard thing to go through. I know for I have been there twice 18 years apart. I understand that your heart feels one thing while your mind knows that what God does is perfect. Oh but what the heart feels. You and your family are in my prayers. I pray for strength during this time also. God Bless. mj

Thoughts and prayers .... I too, experienced the pain of having a child go from my womb directly to God early this year. It was the darkest valley I have ever walked and at times I didn't feel God's presence but He was faithful through it all.... even when it didn't "feel" like He was!

Sending a big [[[[[[[[[[ HUG ]]]]]]]]]] to you my friend and sister in Christ. I have discovered that the whys answered will not take the grief and pain away although as you said trusting that God's plan is what is best. I know it makes rich in Him and adds no sorrow as He revels Himself in a deeply connected way for intimacy. [See in to me!] Little one is in His arms for ever to remain with all the comforts and joy that heaven brings. *U* Rilda

I have had 3 miscarriages and both were heartbreaking. You learn to be thankful for the children you have ( I have 3 wonderful healthy children). My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family.

Hi Jasmine,
It's very hard understanding what the Lord's purpose could be in a loss of baby. After our 8th child, I lost 2 in a row and just couldn't possibly think it was really happening when we started to lose the second. We just continued to trust the Lord, but of course there were many tears for us and our children. We conceived again, and I was so afraid of loss once more, but she arrived healthy and safe (9th), and we have another now due next month, our 10th:) I have faith that the Lord will bless you with more children. Your baby is so safe right now, trust the Lord, His arms are about you. My daughter and I like to read your blog and when she told me I was so sad. Many blessings to you and your family, Love in Christ, Theresa

:( So sorry to hear this.
I know we must trust the Lord and His plans, but it is ok to be sad, and it is ok to wonder why or to not feel like you understand. God understands all your tears and feelings and even your questions.
I am sorrowful with you, and just know that you and your entire family are in my prayers as you grow and work through this loss.
Be blessed Sweetie.
