GOD has blessed my dh and family. we were flooded,but not as bad as it could have been. we are still alive and to me that is all that counts, it could have been worse lots of others had thier house compleatly under water. ours only got about 3 ft of water on the first floor of course the basement was compleatly flooded. things can be fixed lives can't be. i'm just asking that everyone pray for all the flood victims. that recovery be quick and things get half way normal again. i know things will never be normal again. today i'm going back to the house to see what else i can get out.we have 10 days to get everything out that we are going to keep. the floors are already buckling and one wall in basement is colasping. we put a stud in to hold it up for now. sorry for all the rambling,  |

ok here in iowa it has rained or snowed so much i'm sick of it..... we went for a walk today and it was not raining, you can guess what happened half way threw our walk. you got it rained! when we got back home we were soaked, the boys were laughing and playing in the rain, i don't like getting wet by cold rain.but in all the fun being a mom,(mind you i'm wearing a blue jean jumper,t-shirt and a white prayer covering) we jumped in puddles, splashed each other, and rain in the rain. i actually forgot the cold rain and had fun. i guess GOD taught me a good leson today, christopher said mommy you had fun?? i smiled and said yes and thank you for the fun day! he said you are welcome mommy , then he splashed me again well i'm off to do more sewing. needless to say i know two little boys who went to sleep eairly tonight. so i got some much needed cleaning done.

my name is paula and my boys names are christopher 5 years old and patrick 3 years old. i am home schooling them. we go for walks and bike rides to check out nature. we have a small garden started in pots, as i live in the city for now. i sew most of my clothes. as i am a big lady and it is hard to find modest clothes in my size. i'm in the middle of making more veil prayercoverings and quilts . i love sewing.
