Looking back

I haven't been able to blog -- my mom is here and we're so busy with activities and visiting, but I sure do miss all you ladies.  Here's a photo of my great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John H. Moyse.  They are the parents of my dad's mother.  They had eight children, six who survived to adulthood. They were originally from Cornwall. This was taken before 1920.  Don't they look so firm and strong.  I hope I can project that authority someday!

photo. They do look so sound, so strong. I hope to leave a legacy of a strong woman grounded in Christ. Maybe my picture will look like this!
Glad to see you pop in. Hope to see you again soon.

Hi Lizzie!
I have not been on for a few days so I thought I would check to see how your visit with your mother is going. I see she is there now. (:
I love the picture of your great grandparents! They do look very respectable and hard working.
How did you make out canning? I too, am still collecting seeds.
Have a good evening!

Blessings,

Jenn

You’re St. Melito of Sardis!

You have a great love of history and liturgy. You’re attached to the traditions of the ancients, yet you recognize that the old world — great as it was — is passing away. You are loyal to the customs of your family, though you do not hesitate to call family members to account for their sins.

Find out which Church Father you are at The Way of the Fathers!
