• 2007-Dec-12 - I've Been Gone So Long!
Wow, seems like only yesterday I wrote the last blog and it was like 18 months ago! Whew! Yep, ya know you're getting older when THAT much time goes by so fast.
We at the Nixon's are all doing great. Church is doing good, family is doing great, finances are better and better, thank you Lord!
It's now holiday time and my home is all decorated and lit up. I so love the holidays, seems everyone is a little friendlier, a little happier, and hopefully thinking about the reason we have to celebrate - Jesus Christ! I am ever so thankful, for Him, for the Lord God, and for all the blessings He's given us.
We have a new addition to our home, Bruiser, a now almost year old Yorkie. He's all of 3 lbs now and he's 11 months old, just got a haircut and looking cuter than ever. Our other yorkie, Tiger, went home to be with the Lord at the end of June right before we flew to Texas to do a wedding. I miss him still, but he's no longer in pain. I know I'll see him again and he'll be all well, all healed, and full of energy (something he really never had a lot of!).
