Don't Worry, Be Happy

• 2006-Jun-21 - Catchin' Up On My End

Wow, seems like I barely turn around and it's another month.

Sorry, haven't been on here in awhile.  Hope all had a wonderful Mother's Day and Father's Day out there.  We did at home and at our church.

We had wonderful prizes for the different moms plus all the moms got a red carnation.  For Father's Day, we had gifts for the newest dad and the oldest dad (who just happened to have been at Pearl Harbor when it was bombed, bless his heart).  It was wonderful!

Getting in the summer mode here in Cincinnati.  It's beautiful here, all green, not used to that but we've been up here a year now and I've loved it.  Do miss my friends in Texas, miss Tracy a lot (in Alabama), but do love it here.

Will be going back down by Alabama way then on to Texas to take my son to Bible School.  I'll be flying back and since I'll be gone 2 weeks, my hubby is staying here to keep preaching at the church.  I'll miss him, but I'll preach sometime so he can fly down and see all our family who are still there.

Have a wonderful rest of June to you all!!  May God's blessings abound to each and every one of you.

I think it's such a wonderful thing that you love and miss your friend in Alabama so much. I can tell that God truly blessed both of you when He gave you that gift of friendship. ;) I'm sure you'll have a wonderful visit in AL and safe traveling all the way around!

Hey there! I just wanted to say hi, because my name is also Deb and I once lived in Cincinnati. ;-) Now I live in Western Australia with my husband and four children. Husband is a good old North College Hill boy. :-) I hear Cincinnati is a bit rough these days. That's sad. :-( Drop by my blog sometime!

About Me

Too many people try to complicate God. It's 10 steps to this, 12 steps to that. The Word simply says 'trust and obey'. This, to me, is all about how simple it should be, not how complicated God can be made to be.
