  I just changed my homeschooling schedule completely.  Instead of trying to go Mon - Thur, I'm doing Tues - Fri.  Monday is just impossible.  It's my desk day.  I have to pay bills, balance checkbooks, make expense reports, plan menus, cut coupons, make shopping lists, etc!!  Plus, my house always gets trashed over the weekend, so I have to spend several hours "digging us back out of the mess".  I use Monday to do most of my laundry, and ALL of my shopping.  And because Sunday is such a long busy day at the church for us, we are all draggy on Mondays anyway.  At least this way my kids get a much needed day to sleep in, play, and watch cartoons while I take care of all my business!!  And hopefully by Tuesday we will all be ready to dig back into our books again!

that is the same thing I had to do. We also have Girl Scouts on Monday evening and well, it just wasn't happening. So our school schedule is from Tuesday to Friday as well.

About Me

Here on the side of our little Arkansas mountain. Our family includes me, Allison, my husband Justin, my step daughters (14 yo twins) "Bert" and "Nic", our sons (6yo) "Si", and (3yo) "Roo". Next door are the in-laws Wendy and Dan. And between the two homes, we have 3 dogs and two gardens. We live next to a National Forrest so we see all sorts of wildlife. We love homeschooling, gardening, whole food cooking, quilting, crafting, and having bonfires!
