| It has been so cool this week. I can't believe it. I've had my windows open for 2 days now. And that breeze from the north is so refreshing! I just love it so much. It's such a nice change from last month! And while at Wal-Mart the other day I saw the big bin of pumpkins and gourds. I couldn't help but run my fingers over them and dream of frosty mornings, and stary nights! My husband commented last night that I get this way every year. I've been staying up late at night because my mind is running full speed and all my creative juices start flowing. I'm designing quilts in my head when I SHOULD be sleeping.
My 'Cutting Up In The Fall" small group met for the first time on Tuesday. We had so much fun but I don't think 2 hours is long enough!! We may have to change that up so that we have more time! I could have stayed all night gabbing, snacking, and scrapbooking. I spent all day yesterday organizing all of pictures, and then I went through all my stickers, and paper, and embelishments, putting together little "kits" for all the future projects I have coming up. I had to do that so I could determine waht I wouldn't need and put together a "free for all" box. Several people in my group have never scrapped before and don't own any supplies. And because we are in a very low income neighboorhood, we have many people who cann't afford supplies and I never want that to keep them from coming and joining in. So by deciding exactly what I KNOW I am goign to need and use, i could put the rest in a box for others. And it felt so good. While we don't have much money these days since we went into ministry, I have boxes a crafting supplies that I bought when money wasn't so tight. And now getting to share those with others makes me feel rich!
Besides that I really don't have much to blog about. We are goign to the County Fair tonight. That's always fun. I LOVE fair food, and walking through all the craft booths! And the weather should be nice. Last year it was SO hot we were miserable.
Well, I better get busy!

About Me
Here on the side of our little Arkansas mountain. Our family includes me, Allison, my husband Justin, my step daughters (14 yo twins) "Bert" and "Nic", our sons (6yo) "Si", and (3yo) "Roo". Next door are the in-laws Wendy and Dan. And between the two homes, we have 3 dogs and two gardens. We live next to a National Forrest so we see all sorts of wildlife. We love homeschooling, gardening, whole food cooking, quilting, crafting, and having bonfires!
