| My favorite time of year, FALL, is hitting us early this year. We are having highs in the low 80s and lows in the 50s. We usually don't ge those temps until Oct. And the wind has changed, now coming from the North, which is also an Oct. occurance. I don't know if it will last, but it sure is a blessing while it is here. When I think that a few weeks ago the averages were 20-30 degrees warmer, it's a VERY big blessing! It's also rained constantly for 2 weeks now. I happen to love this. Most people are starting to complain though. But with all the clouds covering up the sun, I don't have to run my air conditioner as much, and that's saving me money! And just maybe all this rain will make up for the HUGE Summer Drought we had and help the make fall colors more vibrant next month!
I have some fall quilts to work on starting next week. And my Scrapbooking Small Group meets for the first time tomorrow night! I always get crafty in Sept!
Today I deep cleaned my bedroom. It needed it sooooo bad. And now it's so nice in there I don't want to leave. Maybe I'll pull the boys in there for their afternoon nap and we can all enjoy the clean lemon scented air and listen to the rain on the roof. And then I need to finish sprucing up there room and goign through their winter clothes. I LOVE winter clothes. There is something so comforting to me in soft flannel and warm corduroy. And the dark richer colors.
Tomorrow I'm cleaning up the GIRLS room, and organizing all the scrapbooking supplies for my meeting tomorrow night. I'm also going to make a big pot of chili and pretend it's much colder outside. I made some Tiger's Candy earlier and that will be a good snack for the kids to eat on this week. I still need to do my menu planning too!
God Bless!!
