Trying Simple Life in Taiwan

ds1 helped me attack some of the kitchen...........i really don't like my kitchen, but we are renting, so what can we do right? but alot of the dirty look, i couldn't blame all on the ugly kitchen:-)....so yesterday we cleaned a few cupboards....no easy task in the tropics, there is always the fear of something jumping out at you!! thankfully, nothing did. Even my dh came into the kitchen and was like, wow......that cupboard has never been that clean (ok, he was exaggerating a little!!)

We had curry for dinner last night............today for breakfast we will have cereal and or hole in one (I don't know what it's called!!LOL!)....we are trying something new, I read this someplace else..........take a piece of bread and butter it, take a cup and cut a hole in the middle, then after placing in a hot pan (we don't have a griddle)........crack open an egg and put it in the hole of the bread..................after it is cooked enough, flip it over and continue.............my oldest kinda looked at me like "oh, I am not eating that" and he probably won't.........he is like my mom and not into trying new things (ok, kinda like me too!!LOL!)

If we can't fix my oven .........boohoo.......... I told dh that we need to sell it for scrap and then buy an electric one..........first, I need and oven and secondly, I don't want it sitting there taking up space in my kitchen and not being used....................ok.....................still thinking about what we will have for other meals

Anna is one month old, hopefully will get pix soon for you all............... homeschooling should be interesting.............oh, question for you all........living in the tropics, our weather doesn't get cold in winter (ok, 50F is cold)........................so, would you pay attention to planting times for veggies, or just go ahead and plant them? just curious.........
