Tuesday, May 13, 2008 - Sincerely 'Fro Me to You

Posted in Bits and Pieces

This photo is from April 2005.  It is a bush hut.  It is in the highest place in Australia.  We were driving around as a family looking at the bushfire damage and the regrowth.  It also reminds me of the first days of my blog.

That is so neat. It looks like something from a movie set.

I don't think I have stayed in a hut, but my Grandfather did for his work. I think it would be like a cabin. We had a big bush paddock when I was little and it had a hut and I loved to look in it.

In the words of your far-less-famous Wiggles,

"Beauty Mate!"

Sorry, I had to go there.

Is there an outhouse? Just curious.

Not sure if there is an outhouse. We don't call them outhouses of course here. The worst Australian expression for them I suppose is dunny.
