It's Friday!
Good Morning Girls!
Gone is the sunshine this morning.   Once again the clouds have moved in but at least this time we're not due for any rain.   Just a few over-cast days.    A perfect to time to work on that picket fence...No sunburn!!!!   I know all of you are sick of hearing about this poor ole fence but just remember girls, it has 362 pickets so I'm not going to be done with it anytime soon! HA
After hearing of all the Banks failing this week Keith and I have decided to drowned our depression by going shopping!  Yes, you read that right....We're going shopping in Topeka!   We have decided it's time to make another trip to Sam's Club and stock up for the next couple of months  (If Daddy is doing well I do plan to go to the next Hook-in Oct.) and we've decided we need to do something "fun".    Just turning on the TV anymore can throw a person into major depression.   And no matter how much you worry there's not a darn thing you can do about it.   So, like Scarlet O'Hare, "I'll worry about it tomorrow"!
Before the little ones got on the bus this morning I asked them what they wanted for supper....Both replied "Pizza!"   So, pizza it will be.   I wonder how many of you are like I am.~~~I can spend hours fixing a good meal and I don't get near the compliments or rant and raves as when I fix something simple like pizza!  KIDS   At least it gives me a little bit of a break from the kitchen.
For days I have been telling you about some changes taking place around our home.   Now is the time to tell you about them.   Years ago I started my first blog on another site and then slowly moved over to this one.    I hated to just delete my first one, nor did I want to delete this one.   Finally I decided there was no reason I couldn't have two blogs and keep up with both of them.   When I think "Homestead" I think of my home and the lives in it.    So, I have decided to keep this blog for those who want to keep up with our family (And let's face it girls, sometimes it's the only way I have of writing all of you!) and go back to my old blog so you can see the things we are doing around here.    To the average person it might not hold much interest but if your like I am and like to "see" how people decorate or what their homes/land look like, then you might enjoy my other one.    For those of you who do, here's the link:
No matter where you find me, I hope you'll join me often here on the farm and you'll certainly find me at your "Homestead" via your blogs!   Have a great day and hurry back!   Hugs, Sher
