My Smoky Mtn. Homestead

OK, so I don't really have a Homestead.
But I have seven four chickens.
Does that count for something?

The "Snowy" Mountains

Posted in Photo Album

It has been years since I've seen snow on the mountains like this.  Contrary to popular belief, we do not get a lot of snow here in the Smoky Mtns.  If is does snow in the higher elevations, usually one can only see it on the top peaks.  So this was a beautiful treat this morning to see the entire mountain chain covered with snow.

This was the sunrise this morning.

Another shot with the sunrise. (This is my favorite.)

Funny, there wasn't as much snow once we got to the top of the mountain.

Look at the cool "Cloud Angel"...

BTW, we didn't get any down here.

Love your pictures! My daughter works in Sevier County but lives in Cocke so your pictures were like what I see when visiting her.

Your photos are beautiful. I don't know why you would need ot take a class. Do you print them and sell them? If so let me know. I really want to go to TN from seeing your photos. A lot of people think Oregon is beautiful. I think it is pretty buy by the photos I've seen I think there are prettier places in the US than Oregon.
