Serve God, Save the Planet: a Christian call to Action by J. Matthew Sleeth

The Total Money Makeover: a Proven Plan for Financial Fitness by Dave Ramsey

Both were great books.  I just checked them out at the library.

Our Thankful Trees

We wanted to make a craft for school to help count our blessings.  I love the whole Thankful tree idea... but I am ready for Christmas around here.
So instead of a Autumnal tree, we made Christmas trees and on the ornaments we wrote what we were thankful for.

I know what *I* am thankful for... :)

Giving Thanks..Psalm 118

Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever.
Let Israel now say,

Let the house of Aaron now say,

Let those who fear the LORD now say,
“His mercy endures forever.”
I called on the LORD in distress;
The LORD answered me and set me in a broad place.
