Some fall ideas to do with my kids...

1. Rake the leaves and let them play in them while I take pictures.. I am going to play in the leaves with them.. :)

2. Take fall picutres out on the farm

3. Make fall decorations

4. Try new fall recipes with the kids

5. Write notes of thanks

6. Make a scarecrow to sit by the front door

7. Try out the pioneer way of live..:)

Any other ideas you might want to share with me??

Today was a beautiful fall day.. THe sun was shining and it was neither to hot nor to cold. The sky was clear and blue.. I look forward to the changing of the leaves and making piles to play in with the kids, plus I love to walk through the timber and just take in all of the beauty that God has provided that we do not always take time to look at and thank Him for..

Jill and Jordin have started basketball practice and Jordin is still in softball season. Talking about meeting yourself coming and going that will do it too you.. We are all excited about basketball season as it is a great source of enjoyment for us as a family. Oh yes and let's not forget that Jill is also a basketball cheerleader.

Well you know what I am just rambling and so I think I will get off here for now and go on to bed since I am up past my bedtime alread... I am tired and just need to get my mind to unwind just a big and be on shut down for a few hours...

Remember when you look around at all the fall decorations that we pass by everyday or come in contact with everyday that God almighty has blessed us with take time to say thank you and praise Him for these gifts.. By taking time to thank Him know we can start to prepare our hearts for the THanksgiving Holiday that will be here before we know it.. Start thinging about what God gives us and what we are thankful for and look around for someone who might not have something we have that we enjoy and see about praising God by blessing someone with a gift, prayer, kind word, food and or etc..

I was driving to school today and I was thinking about fall,leaves and such.. I was thinking about God and how I could tie all of this into a nice fall devotion to share with you my friends.....

I was thinking about the leaves changing colors and falling.. The kids raking the leaves and jumping in the piles and re-scattering the leaves....

I was thinking about this and applying it to life in today's world.

I am a person who loves fall. the colors, the fresh air, leaves changing colors, smells and colors of fall.  I love to rake the leaves up in piles and let the kids play in the pile.. I snap pictures of the fun and we laugh and play around, cover each other with the leaves and just have a great time. We play for a bit and then guess what it is time.. Yes you guessed it time to rake up the leaves again.. The kids play for a bit longer and then what time is it again?? Yeppers time to rake the leaves into the pile again... We are kinda like that with God don't you think?? We fall and God piles us in close then we get caught up in the world and get scattered and then it is time to draw near to God again and be in a pile all neat until something happens again...

I think God for not only the neat piles in life, but the scattered times as well. I know that even when my pile of beautiful leaves is all spread out that God is with me and will help me put things back into the pretty pile so to speak...

The sun has been shining today. It is a beautiful fall day. God is so AWESOME the sun, bright blue sky, His goodness, grace and mercy. I love days like today... Fall is one of my alltime favorite time of the year..

Tonight Jordin has a softball game so I am headed over to that here in just a bit.. :) He has had his last 2 games rained out and there is a call for rain later in the week again so the weekend games maybe rained out as well...

So many things are going on and I have been busy, but I try to everyday stop and take time to take in the air and breath and say THANK YOU GOD... No matter how bad our day is or how awful life is there is always a reason to praise God and say thank you to Him.. So remember to take the time to say thank you to God for all the blessings He sends our way.. I know that after 1 comes to mind it is so easy to find many many more....

Wow this morning I walked outside and it is so nice and cool out.. I am so blessed by this.. I took Jordin and dropped him off with my sister so she could run him to ball practice this morning so I could go to the dr. I have a kidney infection... YUCKO I knew I was getting one and so I started taking the precautions to make it better, but anyway I have some meds now and will be ok...

We worked hard on moving yesterday and will be working hard again this afternoon if the rain holds off... I got my room put together, Jordin worked on his room, we got the kitchen wiped down and ready to put stuff away in there and the bathroom was worked on as well. Oh yes and we got more vaccuming done... I cannot believe how much room we have.. I need to post some pictures. Maybe I will get to that this weekend if not maybe Monday...

Tomorrow is a busy day.. I have to enroll the kids, run by the college and make sure my stuff is all in order there, finish moving stuff, then work on the house and there are a couple other things on my list, but I don't have it right here in front of me at this time..

I am so thankful for the coolness of the day and that the rain seems to have went around us for the time being so that my dad could get his hay finished up before school starts.. It will be a nice day to work in the new house and get things put together there.. God truly has blessed the kids and I with this house.. When I was at the dr this morning her nurse's parents are who I rent from now and she and I talked and I just know that God's hand is in it... Thank You God..

Good afternoon everyone.. How are you doing? We are all doing well here.. We did have a scare the other day, but all is well. God is good.

Happy Thanksgiving.. it is almost 1pm so I am sure some of you have eaten, some are getting ready to eat, for some it might even be naptime already for those like me who will be eating shortly or even this weekend a Thanksgiving with their families remeber to take the time to be thankful to God above for all the blessings He bestowes upon us...

We are getting ready to head over to my sister in laws for a huge big family meal, then games and chit chat. I really enjoy family dinners with my inlaws.. They are great to me and my children and welcome us with open arms and love us.. They are so thankful to have us in their family and it is so nice to not dread going to family things because of mean people who judge and don't approve or expect you to live up to their expectations (that noone will ever live up to, but you are the bad person because you don't). You can go be welcomed and have a good time and be done.. 

We are not going to my parents for Thanksgiving.. We have been offered then univited, but I can understand that mom did not need to go through a bunch of cooking or whatever for just me and my family. I am not however fully convinced that the reasons that were given were on the up and up all the way, but that is fine. I am Thankful for my family and I am sure I am more thankful for them than they are for me..

Well I need to get off here and get ready to go eat.. I will be back later to fill you in on my day and some other things..

from a busy momma taking a few minutes to catch the sights, sounds and smells of an early fall morning....

She rises early in the morning and is greeted by the smell of the now gone out fire that was roaring when she went to bed. She gets out a cup and gets hot water to make her cinnamon hot cocoa; as she stirs her hot cocoa she pulls an afghan around her shoulders and looks out as the sun begins to rise and the frost sparkles and glistens in it's rays. She watches as the breeze blows and the bright fall colored leaves begin to trickle down to the ground and rustle aroundd. She drinks her hot cocoa and gets lost in the moment the beauty of God. She steps outside and smells the smoke from the neighbors furnances and the other fall moments. Wow it is so quiet and peaceful. She wishes that she could bottle up the sights, sounds, colors and smells and keep it year round to enjoy. AHHHHHHH the quietness and lovliness of the fall morning..

BBUUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ The quietness is gone it is now time to come back to reality and get the kids up and ready for the day. Till tomorrow she tells herself...

Fall Fall Fall Fall Fall Fall Fall Fall Fall Fall!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Can you tell I love fall?? The crispness in the air, the wonderful fall smells and the wonderful decorations of fall. The falling leaves and grabbing a sweater to run errands makes me smile. I stand in awe of God and how beautiful His handiwork is. The colors, smells, happenings and etc of fall all fit together perfectly and it was God's Hands whom put it all together for us.. Can you imagine how much He really must love us to share this kind of beauty with us??

The leaves are changing colors and beginning to fall to the ground and scatter with the wind. Have you ever thought of comparing this time to our relationship with our Heavenly Father?? We often change, stray and scatter away from God and our relationship with Him. We might start by just skipping a Bible study and then choir practice and then a BIG WInd comes up and we just scatter like the fall leaves.. However when we start to realize and God is calling us back to Him and we are yearning to be back God rakes us back up to Himself.. Then maybe someone or something starts to take over our lives again it would be like a kid jumping in the pile of leaves and beginning to scatter us. We need to be raked up and piled into one of those cute little pumpkin yard bags and help close by our Father above..

Remember to take the time this fall to thank God for the beauty of the season and His love for us.. He loves us in Summer, Winter, Spring and Fall. All we have to do is call..
