Funny, I don't feel like I should be  76 years old.  I have already lived past what both of my grandmothers lived.  I have a ways to catch up with my mother's 87.   don't  really know if I want to live that long.  There is so much that I am dependent on others for.  And at the same time, I certainly am now reeady to die.  If I were I wouldn't be following the doctors orders, taking all of those pills she sants me to take, watching my diet and just longing for those cokes and banana splits I can't have, poking my finger to check my blood sugar, taking my blood pressure. 

I certainly wouldn't be wasteing my time and money to print out all of that family information.  I wonder if any of those kids will actually appreciate it.  But still, I keep on printing it out.  trying to make order out of the printouts as I file them. 

I don't really feel depressed but at the same time I guess I am feeling a little low.  I have made so many mistakes throughout my life and I am at a stage where I keep remembering the mistakes and wonder how I would have done them over. 

Think it is time for me to take a nap.

I have stopped by Homestead Blogger now and then for a few months, and happened to read your first and second posts. Now that I see this one, I thought it must have been a joke - I'm 33 and I thought for sure you were about my age!
I guess being a certain age doesn't tell anyone much about you. I have always heard that one doesn't "feel any different" growing older, although others might expect us to be wise, learned, content, or at a "certain season." I have noticed that this is true at my own age. I feel the same as I did 10 years ago!

Sweetheart, you are so young at heart! I am always facinated by the stories and things you put about your life on Nacny's page. You should post some here. I hope you live to be a hundred! I would miss you if you were gone.
