Happenings from the Bush homestead

No more microwave...

A few weeks ago our microwave finally bit the dust.  In the middle of cooking bacon no less.  So we have been without one.  We're not replacing it.  For awhile anyways.  At first it was annoying to not be able to just heat up my tea quickly.  But otherwise, I didn't miss it.  And now that I found my little hot plate thing, I don't miss it at all.  I like having the counter space back too. 

So besides being microwave-less, nothing much is different.  We're riding the bikes on Wednesday evenings still over to pizza with IL's.  Or rather, I'm driving behind them *lol*  My children are determined to get me on the bike however.  So it will happen sooner than later I'm sure. 

Better get back to things.  I have an annoying misquito bite that I want to itch if I sit down for too long.  We got much work done in the garden today.  But I've posted a ton of photos today already.  I'll save my photos for another day from teh garden.  It feels good be back out there growing our own food!
