Working!!

We have been busy getting back to work. My schedule is not as busy as it was but I am happy to back into the normal routine of life out here in Kijabe. I am back teaching at the Primary school and taking the Moffat students to Kijabe town for ministry. plus I have been up to Little Lambs a few times just visit and reconnect with the kids. i have also been visiting a few people in their homes. I went to John, Beth and Mwangi but they still have not come to spend the day with us yet. Our Sundays have been busy and while we were away their father had been taking them out to eat after church. As much as I want to see them I know it is better for them to go with him and truthfully they love their father and would rather go with him. i also visited the home of Moses, David Ng'a ng'a and Salome, whom I have mentioned in past blogs. Everything is ok at their house although ok might not be a good word for it. They are incredibly poor and their house is a shack but life goes on there inspite of it all. The children of the young mother who died right before we left were taken by their other grandmother accept one of them .. The little Nyambura, the one no one wants ( except for me!) because she is so sickly. So she stays there and is also ok there but when you think about how she could be it gets you down... so you don't think about it....
Our kids are doing great, except for some school stresses and DH is also busy with the work of LL, Moffat and the computer classrooms.....
Today I met with Bernice to see how we could fix the malfunctioning clasp on the Little Lambs bracelets. we also talked about some new designs ,so i 'll keep you posted on the new designs.
We also have septic problems which seems to be an ever occuring problem in this house.
Thanks again for checking out my blog!!!!

hi ellen
it's suzie, am happy to hear the children are being cared for by their grandmother.....will be praying for Nyambura's health and future home LOL!!! madison's father just consented to having his paternal rights removed so we should be adopting madison some time in november. they are pushing it through--november is national adoption month and they are hustling them through to get big numbers. i really enjoyed seeing you and your family---i miss you again!!! well all is well here and it sounds like you are getting back to life there---that is good. maybe i will see you before you come home again, Heather and I would love to come out--maybe sometime. it was hard to see arrianne leave, she has been such an asset to the church with all she does for functions and she is just a nice friend. say hello to the family and we love you all.
Suzie

Hey what's going on with your baby? I've been helping clean up the mission house and I was thinking of you. I'm fat too...my clothes are all too tight...any advice? tresa.crescenzo@gmail.com. Tell Lydie to email Kate back. Annie loves Sadie and missed her terribly when you went back!
