Feeling a bit depressed : (

We are going out tomorrow night to watch my son's football game.

I don't have a thing to wear! I own one pair of shorts that have been worn to death.

So off to Walmart my daughter and I went today to get another pair for me....

WELL the pair I have now is a size 14, (I found a nice pair - I like the longer ones that go to just alittle above the knee) I tried on a size 14 couldn't get them even up, then I tried a  size 16 - again I could barely get them over my hips!. I was so discouraged!

My daughter found a size 18 in the ones I liked and they fit : ( 

I really need to get on the band wagon and lose some of this weight!

I am so depressed !

I have old shorts that fit, but they are horrible now, the styling is all wrong. They were pull up ones. So now I have two pair of capris from ebay that originally came from a department store. They have a side zip opening. They are slightly shorter pants in lighter weight material.

don't be depressed. it's not fun feeling depressed. i know i do sometimes. having a little weight isn't that bad. it's just the way God made you. i hope you start to feel not-so-depressed soon.

Girl, my weight fluctuates so much! I get depressed too. Sometimes about weight issues and other times, who knows! It's not that terrible to be in an 18 either! I can wear anywhere from 14 - 18. It just depends on how the clothing is made. Some things run small, others run big. We should (notice I included myself in there!) love the body God gave us! Don't look at what the media throws in our faces on a daily basis about how it thinks we should look. Feel better quick and enjoy the game!

Girl dont be depressed over that. I havent seen a size 16 since before I had my children, and they are in their early 20s. LOL Let me tell you, yesterday I was at Walmart and I was wearing a pair of capri pants, a pair that I really like too, and as I went to bend over to get something that had fallen, POP there went the little black button. It must have flew 10 feet. Poor little thing, the strain it must have felt. I grabbed my pants, and the button, and ran to the sewing department and opened a container of safety pins and pined my pants and off I went. I wasnt depressed but that little button sure will be when I put it back on my pants. LOL
