Another bee-yoo-tee-ful day!

It's another beautiful day here!  Johnny took Molly and a friend to Portland, TN to a friend's school's fall festival, Perry went to play golf and Lacey had Abbie over to play from 10-2!  I worked outside while they played outside.  I worked inside when they came inside.  They ate lunch on the back porch while I ate lunch in the kitchen.  Mr. Cat was watching them eat!  Well, he watched for about 1 minute then went to sleep.  Lacey and Abbie prayed before they ate!  I didn't tell them to, either!  Lacey thought of it on her own!  It was so cute!  I went for the camera, but was too late, of course.  So, I had them look over at me and smile.

A neighbor up the street invited me to a Matilda Jane Trunk Show.  The clothes arecute, but expensive!  I might take m.i.l. with me.  I just looked at them on their website.  I also looked on ebay and there are 14 items for sale there.

I worked out front this morning on the mums and other flowers.  I need to mow, but I keep thinking that we're gonna get a lot of rain and the yard will be like it's supposed to and I'll be able to mow the entire yard.  It's not fun to mow pieces of the yard.  Also, I think the blades need sharpening because the grass doesn't look that good when it's been cut.  It doesn't look even.  I can't put my finger on it.

Oh, last night Johnny went somewhere w/Greg, Perry was at church and M&L were at Courtney and Whitney's costume party and I was at home by myself.  It was great!  But, it all stopped when a HUGE cricket jumped in front of me here in the basement.  UGH!!  I began spraying him w/bug spray and he finally died.  I'm sorry to all you bug/nature/animal fans, but I just cannot stand bugs.  I looked just like someone on t.v. when I tried to stand up in this computer chair (it swivels and rocks)!  He really scared me.  All I had left to finish on my shorts was sew 1 last button on (by machine).  I thought the button was next to the computer, so I went to see and there he was, flying toward me (well, that's a little bit of an exaggeration).  So, after he died, I vacuumed him up and got some thread and a needle and took it upstairs to do it by hand.  These used to be tight capris now shorts are great!  I love them!  They're long enough, wide enough and best of all, they fit me in the waist/hips (low waist/high hip).  I even was able to put 2 extra belt loops on them from the straps that held up the capri legs.  Smart, huh!  I was so excited!

Tonight, Perry has a dodgeball tournament.  It is so exciting to watch!  I don't know why, but it just is.  Molly is going to take a friend.  I need to do a few more things before we go.
