Today was the first day back to teaching piano. I had a homeschooled student (I wish I had more of them) at 10 this morning and then I had 5 in a row (which is great) from 3:15 until 6:45. I had 2 new students; they're both 1st graders. Tomorrow I start at 3:00 and end at 6:45 again. Then I'll be done until NEXT Monday! Tomorrow I have MIT at 10 and I've been praying for all the moms I sent cards to. I talked to 2 at church and one started the Bible Study at church that's on Tuesdays and the other said she'd try to come off and on. I told her to come when she can, that she didn't have to come every week. Molly & I went to a "Girl of Worth" conference Saturday. It lasted from 9-4. It was pretty good and there were I think 300+ there, but I was sort of comparing it to the "Princess Pure in Heart" conference that we went to last year. We are looking for some inexpensive furniture to go in Perry's room. He needs 2 nightstands that he can actually use for storage (he has bread bins (?) or flour bins (?)) now and you have to clear off half of the top of it in order to get it open. It's very inconvenient. It's supposed to be used as an end table and storage that you don't want to get to very often. Anyway, they were free from my m-i-l a few years ago. Also free in his room is his desk that he has stuffed full of, well, stuff. The drawers are either too little or too deep and is taking up too much room considering he never even sits at it! We are going to get 2 nightstands, a shelf for all his books/magazines/trophies and MAYBE a chest or dresser. I'd like to find a dresser with a hutch with deep enough shelves for books and "kill 2 birds with one stone" (aw, poor bird). They've begun building the foundation for the house across the street. I don't really like it and I know the noise is going to get worse. It's not really that bad now, but it's enough to bug me. Oh, my knee! My right knee has begun to pop in the last 6 months or so. I like it, of course, I've always liked to pop things (I can pop 9 different body parts!) and I love the way it feels and sounds. BUT, the front of that knee has started to bother me pretty bad. I figured out that one is because of the other. But it's like, "which came first, the chicken or the egg". I don't know if it's deteriorating (harsh word, I know, and hard to spell) in front because it's popping in the back or if it's popping in the back because of something deteriorating in the front which is making it hurt. ANYWAY, it hurt during exercise this morning so much that I had to quit because I didn't want it to just "give out" on me. Then, it was fine all day, but a little while ago when I came down to the basement, it hurt-pow! I limped downstairs and massaged the back of the knee. I also compared the backs of BOTH knee but didn't feel any difference between the 2. Oh, and I edited a video of me hopping on one leg to make it look as though I was gliding across the floor.
