Much to my despair, my big pumpkins didn't make it this year.  However, our miniatures did!  The kids had fun picking them and I love seeing them on display in our house!  I can't understand the mystery of why the pumpkins didn't make it--they flowered and some are still flowering--that would lead logically to think that it should produce a pumpkin; however, it just didn't work out this year.  Oh well.  Trial and error. Live and Learn.  There's always next season!

We had homeschool co-op today and had a lovely time learning about Ancient Egypt and my son had fun in photography class.  We had a lovely lunch at a friend's house who made yummy homemade soup and sandwiches and, of course, the company was the best part!
