Again on the Laundry Theme!!!
This past Friday, my husband and I went to pick up a SECOND washing machine! I have to imagine that I am probably one of the only people in the country who has TWO washing machines and no dryer!!! Since I have plenty of laundry lines outside (and inside too), my husband (Rick) felt that I would best benefit from a second washer in order to try and get a handle on the piles of dirties that fill up my laundry room each day.
So, yesterday (Saturday) was the first day I had the two washers running simultaneously and, guess what???? At the end of the day yesterday, ALL THE LAUNDRY WAS FINISHED (at least for an hour or so). That has NEVER happened since I've been a mommy of many!!! And I'm here today to thank the Lord for my new second washing machine, and for my precious husband who suggested it. The sense of peace and accomplishment that came with having all the laundry done at one time was a very special treat at the end of a busy day!
I pray you enjoy your Sunday! Love, Cherylann

I'm so happy for your laundry victory! I only have TWO children and a DH, but even I feel overwhelmed by the laundry at times, so I can only imagine what you must feel like. How nice of your hubby to think of getting another machine.
Thank the Lord for the little blessings we have who created the laundry we do!

Wow! What a blessing! I was just sitting here thinking about how great that would be! You have such a thoughtful husband. Enjoy! :o)
(Oh, and I love to line dry clothes, too!)

who has 10 kids and another on the way said she has all the kids older than 5 i think do their own laundry and she does the younger ones clothes. she said for the first time she can see the floor in her laundry room. 2 washers? how about zero. we have to drive to the laundry mat. but if needed i guess we can wash alot at one time.

I think we need two of each...washer and dryer! We do a minimum of 3 loads a day.. as the children get bigger so does my laundry pile! We don't have the option of hanging clothes outside. I thought my neighbors would report me the last time our dryer broke and I had no choice but to hang them on our deck!

There are days when I indeed wish for two machines, but that would only make me want to do more washing, lol. I don't have but one small line outside, so I would have to use my dryer, which I hate to do. Have a great week wahsing.
