HE never has a bad day

 Here’s some food for thought-
You will never catch God in a bad mood.

Hmmm. I know I can’t say the same. It makes me think about how circumstances frustrate and unnerve me and sour my mood and then one of my children will squawk or need me for something or other and I find myself snapping at them. It’s not their fault but the bad mood has spread. And once it starts to spread it is hard to stop. And that’s when I often find I need a Mommy Time-out.
This is where that line “If Mama ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy,” comes from. When we get mad about something we’re mad all over!
Boy am I glad that God is not like me! I don’t ever have to worry about tip-toeing around God because He’s in “one of those moods” or be concerned that I’m catching Him on an “off day”. God doesn’t have moods or off days. Praise be to God.
I have no fear that I will exhaust His grace either. In a world that changes every moment God is unchanging, unruffled. I can’t ever do something that will make Him give up on me. There is nothing I can do to make God love me more nor is there anything I can do to make Him love me any less.
Good to know don’t you think?
Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8

Amy,
Bank of America told thousands of its cardholders in recent weeks--even those with good payment histories--that they faced a rate hike from 9% to as high as 28% if they didn't pay off their balances at the old rate and stop using their cards. The bank, the largest credit card issuer, since its 2006 acquisition of MBNA, says it's all part of its "periodic" review of customer credit risk.

Consumer advocates cried foul. It's one thing for card companies to raise rates on customers who are behind in their payments or whose credit scores decline greatly, but quite another for on-time customers with no apparent black marks against them to be put in the higher-rate camp.

Bank of America (nyse: BAC - news - people ) gives card holders the chance to opt out of the higher rate by paying the account off, but such a request must be made in writing. "Consumers need to be aware of what is going on," says Curtis Arnold, founder of cardratings.com

This is just what you were talking about. It is from Forbes.com and the article was titled "Card Sharks".

My Husband (DH)-
Mr. Steady

My rock and biggest supporter. The glue that keeps the family sane. He is like deep, deep water- it takes a lot to see a ripple.

DD11- Our Maiden in Waiting- By the world's standard she's a 'tween'. By ours and the Lord's- this is the time of her years of preparation. She is eagerly learning what it means to keep a home and daily becomes more and more of a helper to her Mama.

DD8- Sassafras My Sassy middle child. She holds her own so sweetly and has such an empathetic heart. While real Sassafras is used for flavoring- She is that added spice of flavor to our family.

DS4- Mr. Conductor- The train aficionado in the family. He likes to think he's in charge and often is! He's also the biggest Oreo fiend in the family.
