New- Financial Bliss is coming
I will soon be starting a series on finances- how you can start getting them in order, what to avoid (from my own practical experience), how to start a budget, budget pitfalls and so much more.I’ve got so much to share that its going to take more than one post, more than four probably.
Actually, this could be a revolving thing, so I am starting a new category- see my sidebar. The new category’s name, Financial Bliss.
I wanted to give it a very positive title- a hopeful title. Not some boring title like “finances”- blech.
Bliss- the dictionary definition is “heavenly rapture, supremely happy; enjoyable.” And that is what I desire for our finances to be- I want them to be enjoyable, perhaps even supremely happy. More so, I want to continue in good stewardship- won’t my finances be bliss because its all God’s money and being spent/saved in ways that bring honor to Him?
And so we will start a new adventure, you and I! Come and follow me to Financial Bliss.

My Husband (DH)-Mr. Steady
My rock and biggest supporter. The glue that keeps the family sane. He is like deep, deep water- it takes a lot to see a ripple.
DD11- Our Maiden in Waiting- By the world's standard she's a 'tween'. By ours and the Lord's- this is the time of her years of preparation. She is eagerly learning what it means to keep a home and daily becomes more and more of a helper to her Mama.
DD8- Sassafras My Sassy middle child. She holds her own so sweetly and has such an empathetic heart. While real Sassafras is used for flavoring- She is that added spice of flavor to our family.
DS4- Mr. Conductor- The train aficionado in the family. He likes to think he's in charge and often is! He's also the biggest Oreo fiend in the family.
