A bit of today- a gift

Well, my jury duty was canceled today. I did not have to report.
That's a praise.
The kidlets were already at my parents (they stayed over night).
So-- I took the car in for an oil change and did some youth ministry errands.
Oh, and I slept in- and had a very quiet morning.
Sigh, I missed my kiddos.-- 'Course when I went to pick them up at Nana's, Mr. Conductor took one look at me and started to cry-- because he didn't want to leave.
Sigh, made me wish I'd stayed away a bit longer . . . .
