He Holds Me Up

Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my victorious right hand. Isaiah 41:10

I know God is strengthening me and holding me up and I am so grateful for it. I am also grateful for the comments and prayers some of you have shared with me and are praying for me. No, my situation hasnÂ’t changed yet- but my perspective has.

I have never been involved in church politics before and it is an eye-opening experience to say the least. Not to mention that my job as youth pastor isn’t “just a job at some church”. It is my ministry at my HOME church- the church where I was born, dedicated, was saved, baptized, grew up, married in and have dedicated my children in. My roots run deep here- 4 generations deep (including my children).

I love the legacy but tend to despise the “bureaucracy”. But God will prevail and He will see me safely through.

I continue to covet your prayers and appreciate your uplifting words.
