Home Sweet Simple Home

Sigh

8:11 PM, 2006-Mar-25 .. Posted in God is Good .. 3 comments .. Link

My heart is in such turmoil- things are happening in my church- not good things. Being youth pastor I am stuck in the middle of sooooo much right now and my heart is so torn.

I have struggled for over a week with the burdens that are piling up. I have been suffering some major stress . . . . .

Then I had a revelation- I should not be struggling under the weight of the burdens because I am suppose to be giving them (and the worry baggage that is tagging along) over to the LORD. I have needlessly been struggling to find answers and solutions when I am only suppose to be obedient and give them over to my LORD.

God is good and He will make good come of this situation. I am confident of that.

I am overdue for some much needed time in my prayer closet!

Mark 11:24 . . . .

Sorry to hear things are not going well right now. I am not a fan of trials ;~) You are wise to turn it over to God and pray about it. Hope things will improve soon!

Blessings,
Courtney

Thank you for your nice comments about my quilt block. Rahab is one of my favorites too. :-) So sorry to hear you are under so much stress. God is good, and wants our problems. I'll pray for you.

Here's hoping...

what you're going through will work itself out, and you're right...God can handle things much better than we can!

My Husband (DH)-
Mr. Steady

My rock and biggest supporter. The glue that keeps the family sane. He is like deep, deep water- it takes a lot to see a ripple.

DD11- Our Maiden in Waiting- By the world's standard she's a 'tween'. By ours and the Lord's- this is the time of her years of preparation. She is eagerly learning what it means to keep a home and daily becomes more and more of a helper to her Mama.

DD8- Sassafras My Sassy middle child. She holds her own so sweetly and has such an empathetic heart. While real Sassafras is used for flavoring- She is that added spice of flavor to our family.

DS4- Mr. Conductor- The train aficionado in the family. He likes to think he's in charge and often is! He's also the biggest Oreo fiend in the family.
