Looooong WeekendI've only been "out of the loop" for 4 days but it seems like forever. We had a very big weekend with our church (special services etc.) Then we had Monday off from School and I decided to take the day off too and just spend it reading and enjoying my kiddos- wow, it's been eons since I did something like that! It was a great day for us all. Then yesterday was a "nose to the grindstone" day to get caught up on all that we "let slide" over the 3 day weekend. I'd like to say I'm all caught up but I've still got a little bit of this and a little bit of that (youth work related). I'm actually right on track here @ home with laundry, dishes, meals, grocery shopping etc. Having the girls home for an extra day was quite helpful. Our St. Patty's Day was just as much fun as I hoped it would be. My only bummer is that we had hoped to have a bonfire on Monday Nite to celebrate the first day of Spring- but it was WAY too cold. The girls have started some seeds indoors- all flowers (their choice) and are eager to see the fruits of their labors. My sister-in-law just checked out a book @ the library on how to teach yourself to knit and has started a "scarf". She makes it look very easy . . . . . I hope to get to my library within the next day or two to see what they have. I have now broken out my last container of strawberry freezer jam. I'm off to catch up on my reading around the community. See ya later! Leave a Comment { Last Page } { Page 1365 of 1515 } { Next Page } |
