Amy,
My local Aldi's had ground turkey for $1.79 per pound for the first time...woo hoo!
Can ground turkey be frozen like ground beef?
I'm glad to see you had a wonderful birthday.

Yes- it can be frozen like beef. I actually buy the frozen ground turkey (in a tube) at my Aldi's for 89 cents/lb.
Lynne- I've been praying and wanted to ask- how is the hunt for a new youth pastor going?

I haven't had the chance to check your blog for a while, so I can't remember......do you have recipes for many of your meals?

We are trying to cut back expenses, and I told my husband about your blog, and how you post inexpensive meals, and we'd like to try to follow them! We are a family of 5 as well. We also have an Aldi's that we've been shopping at. Is that where you do ALL your shopping?

Thanks!

My Husband (DH)-
Mr. Steady

My rock and biggest supporter. The glue that keeps the family sane. He is like deep, deep water- it takes a lot to see a ripple.

DD11- Our Maiden in Waiting- By the world's standard she's a 'tween'. By ours and the Lord's- this is the time of her years of preparation. She is eagerly learning what it means to keep a home and daily becomes more and more of a helper to her Mama.

DD8- Sassafras My Sassy middle child. She holds her own so sweetly and has such an empathetic heart. While real Sassafras is used for flavoring- She is that added spice of flavor to our family.

DS4- Mr. Conductor- The train aficionado in the family. He likes to think he's in charge and often is! He's also the biggest Oreo fiend in the family.
