Helpful Links: Pastor Appreciation MonthAt least once a week, I like to check my sitemeter to see how people are coming and visiting me here in the Land of Blog. For the past few weeks, I've been getting a lot of hits for Pastor Appreciation Month and "Scriptures for Pastor Appreciation Month." Knowing what I've posted on that- it hasn't amounted to much more than one post (click here) that would be helpful and it didn't have scriptures for it. So with that said- and me wanting to be the fount of all that's good informationwise(or do we call that "just being a helpful Hannah?") Anyhoo- Let me give you a link to a great resource that doesn't cost big $ bucks and includes scripture! Prayer Bookmarks from NavPress. Go here to see this awesome bookmark of Scripture-Based Prayers to Pray for your Pastor. I love this bookmark. It is stuck in my devotional book (along with this book mark) and I pray one prayer every day on it for my pastor. One year our church purchased these bookmarks and stuck one in each bulletin. I just can't say how *WONDERFUL* I think these bookmarks are! Really! As for another great website that deals with Pastor Appreciation Month- check out Focus on the Family's sister site for Pastors- Parsonage.org has some great information, including a planning guide. This website has loads of great stuff- you can even request prayer for your pastor. I hope you are inspired to shower your pastor with the appreciation he/she deserves!
