Helpful Links: Pastor Appreciation Month

3:32 PM, 2007-Oct-11 .. Posted in God is Good .. 0 comments .. Link
At least once a week, I like to check my sitemeter to see how people are coming and visiting me here in the Land of Blog.
For the past few weeks, I've been getting a lot of hits for Pastor Appreciation Month and "Scriptures for Pastor Appreciation Month."
Knowing what I've posted on that- it hasn't amounted to much more than one post (click here) that would be helpful and it didn't have scriptures for it.
So with that said- and me wanting to be the fount of all that's good informationwise(or do we call that "just being a helpful Hannah?") Anyhoo-
Let me give you a link to a great resource that doesn't cost big $ bucks and includes scripture!
Prayer Bookmarks from NavPress.
Go here to see this awesome bookmark of Scripture-Based Prayers to Pray for your Pastor.
I love this bookmark. It is stuck in my devotional book (along with this book mark) and I pray one prayer every day on it for my pastor.
One year our church purchased these bookmarks and stuck one in each bulletin.
I just can't say how *WONDERFUL* I think these bookmarks are! Really!
As for another great website that deals with Pastor Appreciation Month- check out Focus on the Family's sister site for Pastors- Parsonage.org has some great information, including a planning guide. This website has loads of great stuff- you can even request prayer for your pastor.
I hope you are inspired to shower your pastor with the appreciation he/she deserves!

My Husband (DH)-
Mr. Steady

My rock and biggest supporter. The glue that keeps the family sane. He is like deep, deep water- it takes a lot to see a ripple.

DD11- Our Maiden in Waiting- By the world's standard she's a 'tween'. By ours and the Lord's- this is the time of her years of preparation. She is eagerly learning what it means to keep a home and daily becomes more and more of a helper to her Mama.

DD8- Sassafras My Sassy middle child. She holds her own so sweetly and has such an empathetic heart. While real Sassafras is used for flavoring- She is that added spice of flavor to our family.

DS4- Mr. Conductor- The train aficionado in the family. He likes to think he's in charge and often is! He's also the biggest Oreo fiend in the family.
