Weary and it's my fault

Today, I am weary. I could give an extremely long list of reasons for why I am and should be weary . . . . but to be honest, I believe I am truly weary because I have let my own personal quiet time slide. I have allowed my quiet time to get edged out by the pressures and such of life. This is how it is- when life begins to swamp me and when I need my quiet time the most- I let it slide away. Sigh.
I am desperate for the necessary time with my Lord.
Allow me to share my prayer for today [Adapted from the booklet: Whisper a Prayer for Moms]
O Mighty Lord,
I ask that you give me a renewed strength, vision, optimism, joyfulness, determination, courage, sense of humor, confidence, love, kindness, compassion, playfulness, faith, friendliness, gentleness, patience, and all the other dynamics that will make me a light in the world.
Even though I have come to you feeling weary, O Lord, just talking to you, spending time with you, and waiting before you give me a sense of hope, a feeling that I can soar.
Lord, help me to be mindful of the express need to start each day in quiet contemplation of Your Word. Lead me on the path you have set for me and may I not grow weary. Renew in me a steadfast spirit.
Thank you Lord, for loving me in spite of myself.
